The Feng Shui Money Frog’s deep symbolic roots are said to attract wealth, abundance and good fortune. The frog can be placed in several areas in the home; however, there a few general rules that come with this spiritual symbol.
When positioning the Feng Shui Money Frog in your home, you should find the energetic center of money, which, by classic Feng Shui teachings is the southeast corner of your space. However, Western Feng Shui teaches us that it is found in the top left-hand area of your space if looking at the floor plan.
Choose a raised surface, like a cabinet which is against a wall. This will aid in supporting and protecting its energy. It is advised to keep the frog and the area around it clean as a sign of respect.
Creating groups of money frogs, such as 3, 6, or 9 together are thought to bring more wealth than a single frog, but nine is the maximum, and they should all face different directions.
Where not to place Feng Shui Money Frogs:
- The floor.
- The middle of a room.
- Underneath windows.
- A hallway or high traffic area.
- A bedroom, a kitchen or a bathroom. Placing the Feng Shui Money Frog in these areas will bring bad luck.
